Back in the pre-distracted driving law days, I was talking to my buddy on the phone who was hauling two quads out west for the long weekend... He was like "HOLY ****!!!! I GOTTA GO!" ...as his quad bounced and smashed repeatedly down highway 11 west of Sylvan Lake. Lol!

Had the same thing happen, buddy loaded his quad on my open trailer used the winch and a "pull tight" type/style strap, I warned him that's not going to last and boom first good bump strap came off winch held and I couldn't figure out why my truck felt so much lag until I noticed a quad dragging off the trailer down the gravel road...

Spend the thousands on toys and then run $5 straps?!?!? See it every time I am out...

If I lost it I would turn around and drive the same route in hopes I would find it. You might also want to call the RCMP about it too if you haven't already.

jesus people. I posted thinking someone on here was the poor bastard or new the poor bastard. we grabbed it off the middle line on the westbound lanes. almost got crushed. maybe should have left it in ditch for someone to steal. at least its in mytrailer safe and I will find the owner

I was by lake Louise on the 27 and a white ford super duty had a helmet come off his deck damn near took out the car beside me

Awsome of you to do that Wayne, i'm sure the owner will be very happy that you picked it up. I think you did the right thing for sure, if you call the cops and they run the plate numbers, they should be able to find the owner. And they will have a happy new year. already done. I was really hoping some one from here would own it or know who lost it. its safe in my trailer. wont be getting parted out tonight.
