I bought mine from CR Racing.
I would highly suggest buying one
with the cost of the chromoly and the
bends required I don't think I would challenge it..
just my opinion

How far does yours actually move the bars ahead? Im a fabricator/welder so doing the bends and stuff would be to much of a problem, just thought I could save a few bucks that way

Your just moving the steering block in front of the steering hoops that give you idea how far ahead it is.

So the post would come out right at the back of the hood and you have to notch the hood out for the post right?

Correct.

Is this on a twin or a triple? The triples were quite easy to do, as a straight post ran down between the carbs, but i believe you will need a bent post for the twins.

Yes, it bends to the right and also if I remember another bend up near the top.
it brings it forward about 2 inches in front of the hoop.
you will need to reverse the steering hoop mount
from behind the hoop to in front.
you will need to notch out the hood to make it close.
i also remember having to put in a shaved bolt somewhere so the
post would not hit when turning hard to the left if I remember.
