And as we are staying in Panorama we would do Paradise Basin, is it worth it?? Being its where the tours go, wondering if there is any challenge there. We are all advanced riders. With big iron.

We are staying at Panorama, which way would be best to get to Forster? Back to Radium or over via westside?

Wilmer rd. via Westside is easier and shorter,Forster i think is a bigger area better if you got some vis to get up the falls, snowed last weekend poor vis but deep.

Paradice is a VERY small area, just one small bowl. Has some good steep climbs, but 2 people can shred the place up in probably 3-4 hours. Great area for learners, its where I started riding. But since we have 800s now we havent went up in a long time...

Just got out to invy tonight. Didnt see the hill, but they have lost a lot of snow down at the lake so I would imagine that the hill will be fine now.

well I just spent 2 days up there and if that was 3-4 feet of pow I must have about a 24 inch d!ck, but there was a solid foot everywheres, but awesome conditions all around, one more day up there tomorrow

I said 2-3 not 3-4...big difference. Meaning it was 3 if you were in the right spots!:d:d

Sorry I was way off, maybe I only got an 18" d!ck, passed by you in the same areas all weekend, dont know where you found that much pow, and we went everywhere, even the back lakes behind the finger shoots, my tape measure must need to be calibrated

road is fine - there was a chitpile of big enclosed's up there on Sunday. A couple guys did chain up but the majority did not. It got a little slick coming down but nothing too bad if you took it easy.

Windermere sled club deserves thanks for a great trail and keeping this area open to us!:beer:

x2 on this one. They have kept Forester in GREAT condition this year! Havent had a bad bumpy trail once yet and been in at least 10 times. The road up to the staging area has been well plowed this year as well.

Lakes behind the finger slides!!! NO WAY!!! Dont think anyone has EVER been in THERE!!!:eek: :rolleyes:

I had a SICK weekend either way! Did forester Sat and Today. Unfortunately it was a bit socked in today...made for good tree bashing though!:d:d
Heres a couple from today

So...before I put conditions and pics up there are a few things I would like to say.:rant:
First off a great big thank you to all the illiterate/stupid, ignorant A$$es that rode up forester this weekend and left their garbage and beer cans behind in our cabin!:mad::nono: Granted some of this was already here from previous weekends but I was up riding forester both days this weekend. Was the first one in (brought wood and started the fire) and last one out both days and noticed there was an increase in cans/garbage BOTH DAYS! I understand your out there having a great time riding and hanging out with your buddies but please take a moment to read the signage when you get into the cabin! (pic1) Other than this pic there are MULTIPLE signs in and outside the cabin that state "PACK OUT WHAT YOU PACK IN". Now...this isnt that hard of a concept. Im not sure how to phrase it any simpler...take out the garbage from the food/beverages that you bring in!:realmad::mad::rant: The window sill isnt there so you can try to show off to others that you were drinking beer up in the cabin!(pic2&3) NO ONE CARES, take your junk and recycling with you!(pic4) If this concept is too hard to grasp then please DONT COME BACK!!!

Please be thankful that there is a warm cabin up there to take breaks in while enjoying our beloved riding area and respect it! The WVSS as well as the locals put our time and effort into keeping this cabin in as good of shape as possible so we all have a nice place to rest inbetween shredding!:d:d
Rant over,
DHB out.

...on a ligher note...GREAT WEEKEND!!:d:d:d

The trail wasnt groomed for the first weekend up here so far. We figured probably cause the -30 to EXTREMELY COLD weather all week the groomer probably would NOT start. It was the worst I have seen this trail this year and wasnt that bad at all!

The main meadows were concrete still from the previous long weekend and it was socked in up top both days. QUITE cold on sat and very windy. Was warmer sun with less wind. We managed to make our way into some good stuff! Even found the sun on saturday!

Heres some Sat pics.
