Has anyone been up Forester lately ? Wondering if the first hill just after the mill has melted yet ? Or do I pack the chains.

Has anyone been up Forester lately ? Wondering if the first hill just after the mill has melted yet ? Or do I pack the chains.

Yes that part of the road has melted, but the right lane has a 2' trench that run half the lenght of the hill!
Lots of room to get by though as for the rest of the road the closer you get to the staging area the deeper the mud, just like every spring.
