Rode forester today. Amazing pow everywhere. Not many people up there so there is a ton left. Snowed all day up there as well. Trail is amazing. Groomer was at the top when we headed down. Road to the upper parking lot was not plowed. Couldn't make it up the last little hill to the parking lot. The groomer plowed the road on that section. So it shouldn't be an issue.

We'll be heading up Forster on Sunday…if anyone needs a riding group. Think there's 5 of us Sunday…we'll be in the lot around 9-9:30. Can't miss me. :p
Glacier opens today…if anyone can get up to it. :) Hoping someone will break some trail to it today lol…it was too deep on Thursday to even climb a berm. lol

straight west of radium at lights. follow across creek and up the hill to 4way intersection, if you have a big trailer turn right and follow west side road to dogleg lake staging. if deck or regular trailer keep heading west through intersection to forster fsr turn right and follow to upper staging.

About 4 hours roughly from Okotokos. Make sure that highway 93 isn't closed before you leave.

Rode Forster yesterday and it was awesome, fresh powder everywhere. Had a good time just breaking the trail up the first hill to Catamount with a buddy. Took awhile but we got it, didn't get all the way to the glacier as two others in the group did not want to come up. Saw a lot of stupidity after that when we went to Thunderwater, 4 guys on a hill at once, climbing above someone that is stuck, just general idiots.

Towed out a rental E Tech my buddy was riding, not sure what happened but it would not run.

Rode Paradise today for a half day and all I can say is be careful out there!! Natural slides on all aspects above and below the trees. We decided not to climb at all and just play low in the trees and still had two come down way too close for comfort, called it a day after that.

Stay safe everyone!

How is the road into Forester? We have a F350 4x4 and a 20' enclosed trailer. Are chains needed yet or can we get into the lower parking lot without too much trouble?

You will have no problem, the road was plowed really nice all the way to the top lot and the lot was plowed well too.

yesterday was there, find its kinda difficult get to a parking lot from the RHS road to left after passing 2 bridges had sighn private do not enter, so was driving to right all the way around the mountain road is extremely slippery after the bridge and goes up, be carefull there accelerate and have a momentum otherwise u gonna be in ditch, trail itself isn't too bad. However driving there from Calgary is a challenge

horsethief fsr and forster fsr have not been plowed this week which makes things a bit spicy for bigger trailers or if you meet someone. snow has been awesome all week, the wind has moved it around and in some spots tits deep if ya know where to look;) thanks to the dudes that helped us(me) get out of the creek...... hahaha

trail was groomed for the ride out yesterday, over all one of the best snow weeks I've had in years if not ever!
