Some friends broke in last weekend, said it was hurting pretty bad snow wise

If this is where I am thinking, has anyone broken in there yet?:d

Only a couple feet of fresh the last couple weeks. Getting better and better but still the slowest start I have seen in a long time. Little by little we will take what Mother Nature will give!

Was in there yesterday. Needs a lot more snow to cover up land mines but it is slowly getting better.

no update from the field but it looks like big snow thurs-fri for that area. 30cm in forecast. Should be a great weekend. Still going to be stumps and rocks lurking here and there but that is pretty much how it is in most places this year.

Rode yesterday, managed to find snow and had a good day overall but still in dire need of more coverage everywhere in the area.

road was good, trail was good, snow was ok in the trees but the wind has done a number on the area. the big slide at the gas drop has come down and it was a big one. ran across the creek and up the other side, just about burried the wood shed.



skiing was really good.

Rode forrester Jan. 19 and it is in need of some snow. had a good time as usual and the trail wasn't in terrible shape. The slide pano-dude mentioned was huge and many places have slid already so be careful out there and mindful of where your buddies are at all times.

Is it safe to take the family out there this weekend? Just thinking of doing some riding trough the valley with the monsters? But if it is sliding like crazy or threatening probably not a great idea!

kinda like april, was almost 10c at 7500' sat. and -5 in the meadows
hero snow, saw some big pulls above whirl pool.
snow forecasted for wed

jeers to whoever rode the glacier, and behind the dw cabin locals included.

How's the forestry road coming in? with all that warm weather is it a skating rink? Headed out with a big group for family type slow ride this weekend. Anyone go backwards down the big hill yet this year? Will have some big enclosed trailers with us, hope they all have chains.

road is great, plowed from radium to staging area. i suggest parking at dog leg lake staging off west side road for big trailers.
