2009 6.4L 350. Noticed this evening that the flashing light indicting the PATS system is armed is no longer flashing. Does the start up flashes as supposed to, does the Ignition off flashes as supposed to, but no continuous flash once armed. I can make the alarm work as it should. Just want the flashing light back!

Ideas?

Pull battery cables and do reset?

Thanks.

Generally the best place to start is the battery disconnect thing. Then see what happens after you reconnect. Sometimes they just get electronic brain farts. Failing that, try a code reader and see what it says.

Well, still left hanging. No codes. Pulled negative cables and let sit for about 1/2 hour. No change. Internet search turns up nothing. Any other suggestions or am I making a trip to the dealer?

Nope

Did ya ever think that the tune may have disabled the security???

That is a possibility. Just recently bumped up the tune and it was shortly after that I noticed the alarm light was no longer working. Going to change the tune back and see if that changes anything.

If I do need to do the discharge thing, I am assuming pull both cables off the batteries and then tough the pos to neg. One battery after the other or both at the same time?

Thanks a lot. Always appreciate the knowledge around here.

Un hook both battery's if you have two, and yes both cables together, I. D do both battery cables, as some draw power from both ( fuse blocks, modules)

Well.....didn't work. Not sure what to try next. Looking like might be a project for a dealer.
