So the ol' Raptor has about 230 000kms on it and I noticed the front shocks are leaking pretty bad now. It has FOX shocks from factory and I know they can be rebuilt. Anyone know of a knowledgable shock guy that would tackle the job? Not looking to change valving or anything just new seals, oil and recharge. They would be out of the truck of course, but would need quick turnaround because truck would be down for the duration.
Thanks for replies

Nextech in Sherwood Park might be able to help (780)991-9741 or (780)983-5389.

How did you like the suspension on that truck, it's the only factory vehicle I know of with a half decent stock setup

Cool man I'll give them a call. Love the suspension. The pic is from the winter roads I work on all winter with it. It's a bad day at work if I don't catch air ;). The truck performs as advertised for sure! It's not a trophy truck though as some guys think then completely wreck them. All I've had to replace in 230,000kms is one upper ball joint. That's it. Oh and two sets of tires of course those wear out too. Would recommend the truck to any one that works on the oilfield winter roads. I'm going to upgrade the rear leaf springs this year though. They work great with the box empty, but I usually have about 500+ pounds in the box of tools, fittings which bottoms the factory springs if you off road hard.

Nextech does the Fox sled shocks not sure they can to the automotive stuff but worth giving them a call.

I'd consider buying a raptor just based on the suspension design; 2nd choice is going back to a solid axle dodge with a Carli setup like I put in my '01. The suspension on my duramax sucks ass no 2 ways about it.

Yea I ran an 08 Dodge Cummins before, loved the mill, but hated the ride off road and didn't like all the complete front end rebuilds every spring either. I heard that the Carli kits are pretty good though.

I would give this fella a call. Site sponsor and I believe he deals in King shocks and such.
If he can't do them I am sure he will know who can.
As mentioned Nextech . Great fellas also as have dealt with them in fox shocks for sled.
