what do you think the verdict will be? 3.5 is not as fuel efficient as they say but its still good and has power.

i wonder the power this 2.7 will have as well (seat feel hp). I find the 5.3 gm a gutless motor for the hp rating, be awesome if it blows it away power wise and fuel economy wise.

The 5.3 needs the trans torque management taken out

I recall seeing the hp figure of the 2.7 at 325 and 375lbs of torque. I just took all the 2014 half tons for a ride and find them all powerful. It is going to be interesting how well the 2.7 performs for power and economy.

Yup it has a bit less than the 5.3 gm v8 but ive owned one. Like stated with factory torque management its a dog. I know they arnt sports cars but my old 5.7 gm with 265 hp put a bigger smile on my face when you stepped on it. My current hemi with 390 is awesome but a bit less pep with alot more mpg would be great.

those numbers are close to the 5.0l , not the same but in the same ball park. in 2015 does the 5.0l and 3.5l get a jump in hp and torque?

2.7 will be in all the fleet/company half tons, I'm thinking fleet managers will be all over it.
