I got a lexan hood with the sled i bought, i noticed there is no real place for the intake to take cold air in from outside the hood. What did you guys do about this? is it ok to just let it suck in the hot air from under the hood?

i used to just run factory airbox with the foam, and i put those factory corner intakes back in to let some fresh in. not the best way to do it but my plan was to build a taller peice of foam that would seal to the hood then just run a screen of some sorts overtop

I did the same as Maxwell and glued more foam on the air box to seal up to hood. Also used a "3 hole saw and cut 3 holes on each side of the hood more to the back just to release heat from the clutch and pipe. Glued in screens too.
