Hey Everyone! Just a quick ? A buddy and i were talking and wondering about lowering the front skid about 3/4" and moving it back about 1"! Just heard something about it and were hoping that someone may have tried this already! Now this is with the rear of the skid in the same place or a bit lower! We fiqure the rear suspension would perform better and have more upward force on the rear springs! How does anyone feel bout this idea? dave b has kinda done something like this but not sure if he moved it back at all!

Thanx
Brad

I never monkeyed with geometry. Heavy rear springs, 1" drop at the rear, 7/8" drop at the front. No wheelies in a climb and deep pow performance is right where I like it.

Finally finished the Smitty drop last night on the 08 XP, heavey springs sure help, I think the shocks were toast as well. Getting them re charged today. I also ordered a set of bushings/colloers for the coil of the new springs, of corse they are not here when I had it all apart. But should help a little as well. Very nice fit and finish.
