For the third week in a row I'm traveling to NE BC from Calgary. Fox Creek has been evacuated and guarded each time. Today it actually looks warranted. The pictures don't do the smoke justice.

Were those pics of today? The wind is supposed to shift tomorrow and not in fox’s favor.

That was just a few hours ago. If the wind starts coming out of the east it'll be a problem.

This was the cause of the one fire that started north of Peace River.
Also heard that FSJ is evacuating right now.

A dead body? What are we looking at there?

I heard about FSJ. Not sure if it was wise coming up this way today. I'm in Dawson tonight. Supposed to go south of Tumbler after Dawson job.

Heard a rumor that the fire is in town in Fox Vegas. Sure hope that's wrong.

We were going to go sxs-ing in Tumbler this weekend. We cancelled those plans due to how dry it is.

Lessons learned 100 years ago are long forgotten...

Where are these so called fire break lines...

Want too save a hamlet,,, town or city back in the 1900's a community would do a controlled burn would they not...

Everyone knew that if a forest fire made its way into town there would be no chance of stopping it...

Ft Mac and Slave lk were remainders of what can happen in today's age of time...

Lillwet BC another...

Guess fire suppression is on the back burner so to speak...

All of us know that there will be dry years,,, this posses a greater risk if things getting out of control ...

Purhaps there is no common sense in today's world of being proactive...

Lessons learned from long ago must of gone up in smoke...

Everything seem too run on hind sight I guess...

My oh my,,, crossed over the Red Deer River last evening and shes running pretty low...

North Saskatchewan River isnt fairing too well either...

Up stream from Abraham lk a person could squeeze the N.S.R. Water shed into a 42" pipe with a easy flow of 7 mpr...

The snow pack in the Park is pretty low,,, there might not be as much of a melt off as one would think...

Bet 10 too 1 theres going too be water rationing happening...

I think there has to be rain clouds before you can seed them. Can't just pull them out of your ass...
