Nova Scotia is in rough shape right now. Have a bunch of family in the Halifax area that has been evacuated, woth a fire ripping through there bextremely, dry, hot and windy. Crews pulled back last night as it was too dangerous

I came home from Edmonton lastnight and south of Niton Jct you could see a good size smoke column from the Highway.
There has been lots of aircraft activity on Friday and Saturday.

We got a 45 minute rain shower Red Deer area.... better than nothing...

Our sector got a good blast,,, pretty sure it was spratic showers here and there throughout the County...

Just got half hour of good rain in Duffield/Alberta Beach area.

Of course I was trying to disconnect the 5th wheel when it happened haha.

Woke up this morning too find out that we're getting light rains in our area...

Things are starting too green up alot...

Last drizel was a 1/4",,, hopefully the same this time around...

We don't see much popping up in the fields yet,,, fingers crossed...

Fairly dry on top, moisture down below is slowly dissipating...

Steady rains from Red Deer North too Nisku,,, she was coming down pretty good in spots...

Fire hazzards are low,,, crop and pasture lands will benifit from this rain shower...

Lifted in many areas. Not all last I read. Depends where you want to ride.

Grey area is the only atv ban as of today on ab wildfire app

High Level and Fort McMurray forest areas still have OHV band but the rest of the province is good to go!

Fire has no boundaries in dry conditions !!!

Feel free to too throw up a post of whats happening in your area...

Grande Prairie East Area got 3" a few days ago,,, another 1 1/2" a few days after that...
Fairly green on that side...

6 or 7 or more acreages got hit by fire on the S/ W of GP.

Some folks got a few belongings, not so much for others...

A friend of our lost his house,,, there shop survived...

Still dry back in the timbers back there...
