Need Info, newbie's with no Avy training.
Going out to Fernie in March not sure dates waiting for friends to comfirm.
We are new this year to sledding and have no avy training or gear.
Is there anywhere to go out there that will be good for us?

I would suggest leaving from Coal Creek staging at Fernie and going to the rolling hills, pipeline area by the Wranglers Cabin. And stay away from any steep stuff that could even remotely slide. Have fun!

You can also rent all the avy gear from the gear hub.. They will run you through how to use the beacons but I would still recommend practise in the parking lot with the beacons before going up
