Another day of Fernie powder riding complete. Lots of snow out there, still grazed the odd tree/stump hidden under the snow in a few spots.

Didn't stop to take many pics today. Had to laugh listening to the guys in the cabin complain that it was starting to get tracked out. This stuck was 5 minutes from the cabin and 30' off the trail.

The sled is the last picture is parked on the trail. Haha.

Right on.

My uncle and cousin are out there and said they were riding lots of great areas without tracks. Both on REV's, one blue summit and my uncle is on a yellow MXZ 136" haha. Says he didn't get stuck all day, just kept it to the wick and poached his son's trails all day - they're having a blast.

If you see 'em say hi, they love shooting the **** with other riders.

Its hard to tell but i did not go directly above him soon as I was past him there is a basin that sits above him, that is massive if it did slide it would of filled that in also where I turned is another shoot, again hard to tell it all funnels down to the other mountain. I am big on staying safe and not putting myself in danger or anybody else. After looking at the video I can completely understand how one would think I would be putting him in danger.

Yeah GoPro video is very deceiving on depth and angles. Thanks for clearing that up.

Haha. I concur, we were out by the notch today having a blast. Lots of guys riding the wind swept hard pack for some reason though.

I was busy digging....

It was a great day. The sun was out, the pow was deep, and the shovels got one hell of a work out. The open areas are rode pretty hard but there sure is lots of untracked in the trees. Sorry, no pics!

I know that is dump of me but that is just the way it goes some days. That damn ski hill traffic sure makes for a slow drive through Fernie.............???????

Can we talk of how many day pass sales the FSA is missing by parking the collection truck where they do?
It's not their fault.
They are now, not allowed to park on the road to collect as it's Crown land.
Please all, don't just sled past the truck. Stop and pay your day pass fee. It's money well spent!
