ya we found it back in the late 80s, from barns ranch you jump west to river and follow it, their is a second hunters cabin a 1/3 way up on high bank side, from there it gets western for awhile with lots of water skipping and bouncing of banks, once your almost there, you have a few uglys to get threw trees off bank, you have two water passages to take, either will get you there but the south or left pass is less technical, good three hr ride from barns..
Wow we have tried to make our way through there with no luck. I guess we need to try harder or needs to be a good snow year.

Sounds like a really nice loop. Is there much for playing back that way?

On big dumps we had a absolute blast at barns ranch, lots of jumps and play areas, last year when we did it, most of river was frozen over and it was pretty easy, but most times there is a few sh1t shows, and ussally a few wet feet, lots of story's and ussally doubles ordered at the bar after..

Cash creek, and Harvey can also be a real rush in good snow.. Did the winter camping for many years at cuts and wish we did it again, always was a blast in march

They had a 36 cm alert at the ski hill this morning. The Morrissey corridor got a little more than that. Some places were holding 60 cm and most were in the 40 cm+ range. It was another great day in the hills.....

Must be getting close to being "game on" out there Doug?

It's getting better every dump. Some places are better than others (I probed 230 cm in one area and 200 cm in another). The Burnt areas still have hazards and I honestly don't know about the Notch.

I have had some great days and some dude in the cabin today said his best days were in November.................go figure.

I didn't worry about stumps today but I was in familiar areas and stumps are minimal where I normally ride. So, yes I would agree that it is very close to game on.

I realy have to give a big thumbs up to to the FSA... The trails and pipeline were groomed and we had all fresh tracks for two days. It is a pleasure to be a club member this year. Lets give credit where cerdit is due. Thanks groomers!!!
