Guy broke his leg 500 feet up from cabin, compound fracture, pretty bad. Not sure what happened. They may have been from out east, French acsents. Poor visibility yesterday, just about took an a arm off myself. Couldn't see some holes, azzhole puckered a few times.

every guy that stopped by the cabin yesterday said the snow was at least 2 feet deep and just in front of the cabin a good 18 inches of pow for sure. play safe.

any current pictures? The ones from the 31st there looks like about 4 inches!

It's tough to make the drive, get up there and realize that the visibility is too poor to ride safely. It's even tougher to admit it. We had to do it at Mountain Mania. Rode a brutal trail into Chappel then sat all day above the lake hoping for some visibility. It never came and we all rode back out with no injuries. We saw some good wrecks as people hit holes, creeks, etc and flew over the bars as their sleds cartwheeled away. You can't ride a bluebird day next trip if your season ends with a bad decision. Ride safe everyone.

I would like to personally say thanks to Barry for all his hard work organizing and building the new cabin at renshaw. He was telling me about watching all the sledders having a great time playing in the snow and all coming in with big smiles on there faces and great riding stories. Barry takes it on his own to work on the cabin every day for several weeks and has not had a day just for a ride, I really don't think he has been out at all this year. This is for the other locals as well that have been completing the interior and doing all the recent work. These people are not paid to do this and do not get the recognition they deserve. Well, I just want to say THANKS, your hard work has not got unnoticed by anyone who visits McBride.

thanks all. we are trying to make it better here for the visiting public.
frikken dumped all day at the cabin with no vis at all for the riders but none had any complaints about snow. trail was only groomed to 18 because of the last sar incident lastnite. thinking the groomer must have given him a ride out from there, not sure.

Raining on the way out, started pretty close to cabin. Found some epic snow. Burned some fuel, had a great day. Great job on the cabin to all those involved!! Trail was awesome!!
