Gas for generator to keep all 4 freezers and 3 fridges cool. Got enough beef and pork to last all summer. Probly be out of beer by Friday though, better stock up or the beer fridge has to work too hard to stay cool. Got a 20L carboy of 'shine if SHTF for real.

I might be old fashioned and this may bite me in the butt but what a fiasco. 300 people in Canada are infected, 2 deaths, and the whole f***ing country is shutting down. Climate change is no longer an issue, the flu is totally forgotten, measles is no longer talked about, the opiod crisis has quit, unemployment is not talked about, the energy sector is forgotten, the Wet'suWen are very quiet, the Mohawks are quiet, SNC Lavalin and Bombarier's Quebec's ties are no longer and issue, all major sports are shut down, the UN pursuit is no longer in the news, pipelines and the economy are silent, protests are silent................the media has spun this into mayhem and the majority of Canadians are buying it!!

Totally unbelievable in my mind.

I posted the above in another thread but thought I could move it here for a better discussion. We had a morning conversation about should we/will we/ buy some food supplies other than the week to ten day stuff we already have in the house. I went shopping for some hamburger buns yesterday and the pandemonia is real in Salmon Arm; paper product shelves are empty, meat coolers sparse, canned goods getting low and some soups are gone, and the bread section was a little low. How far is this going to go? What do we really need to have?

It's totally out of hand. More people are going to die/kill themselves from the economic fallout of this than from the actual virus.

1944 Kenrad vt. 231’s a quad of em, a pair of Brimar cv1988’s
Also just got a couple more “holy grail” rectifier tubes...Western Electric 422a’s and Osram cv575
And with any luck both Def Leppard box sets should arrive in the next couple days,,,
Being an “audio nerd” is like being self quarantined anyways...

Found some Steinhart Maple Vodka made in my hometown back in NS. Never lasts long

Brought a couple of 60 pounders of Vodka back from Mexico with me, $7 Canadian each. Got another friend bringing me 2 more when he gets back next week (IF he gets back). I'm not even a Vodka drinker but for that price how can I not?

Crown Royal costs the same down there as it does here even though it's an import and a premium one at that. Man we get ripped off BAD here on hooch
