Fatality in Golden?

Anybody hear any details of a fatality in Golden over the weekend? Over on Dootalk a fella posted that GDX (Glen) from Calgary hit a rock, went over the bars and broke his neck. Very sad. I rode with GDX and his buddy last year and he was a really nice fella.

I can confirm as our group was in Radium on Saturday and attended/helped at the scene. A very sad and sobering scene for all involved.

My condolences, the rocks are starting to show, and the sleds are fast.. Be careful.

Glen was one of my riding buds. Normally I would have been there but my sled is down. We went in Sunday to get the machine left behind. It wasn't a rock just some unexpected air after a drag, the sled nosed under and flipped end for end. Five feet to the left and none of this nightmare would have happened.
