Both are the same 113 gpm is rated at 2200 rpm on the Red ones too. I work for a Red dealer. They do have the back shift tech now but if the pump don’t turn fast enough. It’s not turning fast enough.

Change it from series to parallel flow & you can run at 1500, 1600, 1700...what ever you want and you will have all the flow you need.

Works in theory but never in practice.

Start using a high need function like your openers and the fan starts dipping.

Most of our guys run 76 ft at minimum. 86 ft is the norm, hydraulics can’t keep up and start having issues when you get to your max output at the engine speed they want to run. Big carts need big hydraulic supply.

We sell 15 - 20 new units a year from 66'-100'...9950's & 91300's. Had issues like you said...that's in the past now. If you haven't changed the tractor from series to parallel flow you should try it...or not & keep having hyd. issues.

We have tried both, usually upping the hpsb up to 3300 psi on one pump helps eliminate it entirely. But I appreciate your take on it.

We set them at 3350 on pdi & change to parallel flow...no issues.

The newer Vaderstad drills aren’t they electric metering. Should take some hydraulic load off vs a Bourgault.

One hydro is tied into wing down pressure and then into a alternator which charges a bat wich runs all your electronics and meters on the vaderstad, that electric metering is the cats ass no surging and very accurate, i remember on our morris c2 drills they had a acumulator on the drill flip the hyrdo on for 5 seconds on headlands took so much hydro load off the tractor

Case IH tanks are very similar as well. Only ever had to work on 1 ever. Not too many issues and pretty simple.

Still sittin on 50,000 of of nola 40,000 wheat forecasters are a buncha a holes burnt me on pre covid pricing then burnt me post covid guess we will see what summertime canola prices are

I askee the same question why are the prices dropping it makes 0 sense, everywhere in drought risk going into this year well msot places, last year by no means no crazy yields overall in sask or alberta and most manitoba. Global demand has not dropped so whats goin on?

Someone’s hashing a bet that farms are feeling the pinch and going to have to let some go for less then usual. It will come up when they get really low on storage.

My dad was saying $19 a bushel USD down in the states for Canola, if you can get a buyer down there it would be worth the investment. $13 canola I don’t understand how the commercial farms are staying afloat. Equipment cost, manpower, interest rates, maintenance…

If there's an upside, Natural gas is down to $1.59USD/1000cuft today, grain drying should be cheap this fall, and fertilizer prices should come down significantly.

Ya mb next year fert prices may come down they are atill very high to put the crop in for this year, and we need rain to run a dryer lol havnt dried a bushel in 5 years

Russian Wheat and Canola going to China. Russia and China are Brics Countries. The party is over we will be back to Pre-pandemic prices by spring. My guess is we are selling canola for 12.00 and wheat for less then 8.00 off Combine next fall.
