Roller to punch rocks into ground. They don't grow every tall so have to float the ground to get them all. Fred you got a lot going on behind you lol

We are MMMMMmmmmmoist up here. Frost just coming out of the ground. Sidehills wet. fence lines wet. Water still laying in the field.

We are doing Cat work. Pulling out fence lines. Cleaning up Small Bushes.

I think we are at least 2 weeks away from start up.

Yes a 62' land rollers pushing the rocks down and keep moisture in

I'm currently pulling a fence line that is a t least 100 years old. I dont know if it is was lack of education or just stupidity but they old boy that piled the rocks for a whole 1/2 mile in the fence line was a energetic guy. I would say everything from 2-3" and bigger is in the fence row. I was surprised to find them 3' down in the dirt (maybe wind blown erosion). Needless to say a big undertaking to clean up but I do appreciate the work put into the removal as the field is pretty clean.

They bought a quarter next to me that had a fenceline between us. 6 hours later and prolly 40-50 guys with cats, hoes and gravel trucks and Hutts pulling fence posts they had it burned off and disced up. Even had a crew there to jack up a 3300bu Westeel and haul it away. No man power issues thats for sure

I never even seen them seed it either. I left field about 10pm and back about 7am and quarter was seeded. Must have been in during the night?

Percent and Chiped up.. slippage up to 18 percent on tracks.. when tank is full you know it

Even though skipping peas and garbs this year sadly.

Had exact same thing last year.. I always thought it was all blow dirt.. but excavator cleaned big groups and had to hand pick piles over the 1/2 mile.. had to be 40loads of rocks.. after excavation was done.. still a touchy subject with fam.. but nice to have cleaned up..

Even with the Steinert chip those Ivco’s need a little help. They derate the bottom 5 gears to 80%. We typically run in gear 6 or 7 so when we shift down one really isn’t putting more power to the ground. The dealer used to be able to tune this out, but not anymore. The only alternative is the scraper option at new, which is a big ticket item.
