They are nice, But I like the spout that they have on the brandt carts. The head swivels back and forth for easy control of grain flow.Neighbor just got a unverferth cart, nice carts they are to!!!! Now I want one lol
The neighborhood smells like endigo and lorsban insecticide......... the planes have been flying within 4 miles of my house all day. (friggin aphids)
thats a pretty stiff combo, ive done a lot of lorsban, not a plesent chemical to work with at all,
so how much hay does everyone have up? we cut about 70 acres and got about 30 acres baled up, we tried cutting another 25 acres,,,,, but that idea went down the drain View attachment 107940
I do about 200 acres and I have 160 that was ready to bale yesterday but a inch of rain in the morning shut that down!!About 4 bale an acre crop should take a while to dry!!Water sitting in the low spots again!!!!so how much hay does everyone have up? we cut about 70 acres and got about 30 acres baled up, we tried cutting another 25 acres,,,,, but that idea went down the drain View attachment 107940
It's to the point where combining is going to suck balls!!I was going to silage some barley but I can't even get a quad in the field let alone a swather to knock it down!!!!friggin rain can screw off
may be a poor year, to friggin much rain
Yes they certainly are quite nice. Got my new sled already, now hoping that I can get a truck, some land, and a house to put on the land this year. Was in north central albert this past weekend - crops ok but didnt get the moisture when needed - seem a little patchy. Drove back to calgary cross country - the settler / carbon area has very good crops - what I would call above average ! New sled underdog!!
Might be a good year to have a grain cart in the field. well, any year is I guess.By the way things are going it won't be to bad for harvest, but with our luck it will be soaking wet when it's time to start combining, would be inderesting having pull type trucks and push type combines lol
