Family near Drumheller just finished wheat but had to shut down Canola harvest because it was too hot to put into the bin.

Hate to see my power bill this next round. Air bins have been going every night almost and AC in house the same. Normally around $480-$500/month for just the farm without bin fans running. It will be at least double I’m betting

Yeah all the canola and most of the wheat came off in 32-35 degree weather. Went straight to the air bins and then move them to non air bins when they are safe

Does everyone cork their bins like this ? Little tricky installing vents when it's raining grain.

I'm actually surprised a guy isn't seeing more of this, cattle rustling too as good prices skyrocket

Harder to do than stealing smaller items. Need equipment and gas money. Guess if ur stealing that too, could make a lot.
