Totally agree the little glimmer of hope in the lentils doesn’t go far. Equipment already seen a 9% hike last month. Might not sound huge but when you start at 5-600k and go up from that’s a really good years wage increase

Can't believer what the price of equipment are seeking at some of these auctions lately.. I think with manufacturers prices so high, it' making guys rethink there spending limits.. older tractors that are selling well over their new valves

Those trucks are priced accordingly, older iron especially pre emissions, ELD exempted trucks go at a premium, and IMO will be worth alot more now that gliders can no longer be bought from the manufacturer.
Those WS’s were 6 figures when new.

Brother just picked a few of them, says great
Trucks so far and ultrashift has been trouble free.. delete kit is 6k if you want it.. new was 200k, and good service records

Might pick one of them up as well..

Commercial cant be done as easily, and it’s expensive. With the CVIP inspection, and MY of the truck having a deleted truck on the road can be sketchy for the operator.

Thats why glider builds were so popular and worth the high price tag.

We’re talking farmers here . It’s not a problem and for the most part the biggest portion of owner operators and smaller industry operators all delete it seems .
Only the bigger PIC companies stay emissions compliant.

If they are staying local, or on the farm yes.

Why by a newer truck for farm use just to spend the coin to delete it.
Provincial owner ops delete alot of the time,
Interprovincial operator’s is different yet.

Its alot harder to sell a deleted newer truck. 6-10g to delete than, the same to put the truck back to legal. I know guys who have done it.

Alberta is the only province that has slack laws that are not enforced.

Yep its a good price, thats for sure, its low for a reason.
That truck is priced 15-20k low to Comparable year trucks with manual transmissions.
The ultrashift IMO, played a big role in devaluing that truck. Engine hours for the year caught my eye as well.
