Trying to move grain to the terminals is turning into a gong show. Every week its either trains not coming or they changed the order for another commodity. January contracts still in bags and bins with no sighn of movement in the near future. Guys have bills to pay and new crop to buy inputs for now with the pandemic announced markets are going down. Might be 2020 on the calendar but this 2019 crop is a long way from over. I feel for the guys that still have harvest to deal with before seeding can start.

Havnt moved a bushel of canola yet, and we hauled nov contracts in jan, not a good start to 2020. Plus prices are the ****s so not worth selling anyways, on positive side input price were lower for us this year

A few guys have moved a some conola and found a few surprises with heated spots. Not the whole bin just a load or two. I think the longer it sits the more surprises guys are going to find. A lot of grain went in tough and hasn't moved yet. Probably bugs in the grain will be the next issue Lol. Fuel prices are way down thats going to help the bottom line aswell as lower inputs but the new crop prices aren't exactly stellar. Going to be a interesting year hopefully things turn around but not going to hold my breath.

Neighbour had a bin go bad of Canola. He put it in dry and turned it once like he does every year and lost half the bin. Thinks maybe snow got in the lids or something and the top got wet and heated. Tough deal.
