Father in law last year bailed over 800 bales by Castor. This year he bailed 260. Been dry out there.

Got hailed out Friday. Gonna make more on insurance than I would have if I could have harvested it lol. Hutts had 7000 acres hailed out and no insurance.

yup, hoots don't buy insurance (unless they are required to, like for financing).....whatever happens is "god's will"

So are you gonna have to combine or can you bale/sillage?

I'm gonna combine most of it just to process what straw is left. Gonna cut some of my dad's for feed though cause it has more standing and he needs to try to get more value out of it since he wasn't as well insured as me.

it’s an individual colony decision if they carry insurance or not, lots do.
