F150 powestroke

Anyone have one of the diesel ford half tons yet? Was considering one for fuel mileage and not interested in a dodge. I know I can go test drive one just not sure if will be painfully gutless to get the mileage benefits over gas.

I had a chance to drive one for a few days....didn’t tow anything with it, power was reasonably good and the mileage was in the low 20’s mpg in the city....

I have one, I carry 2 sidewinders on my sled deck and tow the 4 place behind and it's got lots of ballz just crank the chip and pinner.

I hear they are slow . That timing belt and overhead valves would give me nightmares lol . The 6.7 powerstroke would be so much better. I bet a plain f350 is cheaper than that f150 diesel. Dont see why anybody would want one? But thats just me

Pretty tough to justify one considering the performance of the newer gas engines in the half tons. Anybody that thinks their pickup is gonna get 30 mpg regardless of manufacturer is delusional. The aerodynamics alone make it doubtful.

Main reason was a 6 month deal and ship south, I looked at one at local ford store damn near fell over, $7500 upcharge for the diesel. Sticker on a platinum was $80k. Nuts.

Paid $41000 for my last eco diesel. Loaded but not leather. Them fords are pricey.

Bought an 18 F150 Lariat with the 2.7 and ten speed a couple months ago for my wife to drive. Normally gets 11-12l per 100km. Dropped into the tens on straight highway. The new 2.7 makes 325hp and 375 torque so its not bad... Only paid 47,500. Cant justify the extra money for the diesel, I'm sure it would get better mileage but cant be that much better...
