F-450 winter tires

Possibly picking one up next week, does anyone have ideas for good winter tires for the medium duty tire. It will be a 2017 tire size 225/70/19.5

We run Firestone Winterforce on one truck and Toyo C/T on the other. Both are great. Toto is more of an all terrain but works surprisingly well on icy roads.

Being 19.5 makes it tough. My brother in law siped his original tires and it helped.

michelin XDS on steers and XDS, or BDM retreads or siped winter deep retreads on drives.

Run Michelin xds 2 m&s all around. No issues other than dealing with kal-tire to buy them.

I just realized our F450’s run 17” wheels. Our F550’s are running the BS 19.5” wheels. We run the Michelin on those as they are the only tires so far that do not scallop, and they have good traction year round. Will have to check those ones out Ric when we need to replace these.

Just put a set of cooper xt 4 on my one ton and they work very well. And they come with a 70,000km tread warranty. They are also a ten ply.

Michelin xds. These are snowflake rated and are retreadable.

Michelin. I have about 600 of them. 100 of other brands. We try to only buy Michelin. Retreads are good too. Michelin casings should wear out once on the virgin tread and cap twice before you junk them.
