Engine shaking when hard braking

So a buddy bought a used '06 650 H1 and it is in great shape. Neither of us have ever had a cat.The only problem is if you get it up to speed and then brake really hard (basically lock up the rear wheels) it shakes really bad. The motor shakes causing a clicking sound. It is worse on pavement then on gravel or dirt. Is this caused due to there only being one rear wheel with a brake ?. Do they all do this ?. Any help is appreciated....Thank you

The hand brake applies all three calipers, the foot brake only applies the rear brake caliper.

Sounds like a clutching issue? Staying engaged or not back shifting?

I was kinda of thinking that may be whats happening. I will pull the clutches apart and take a look. Thanks

Try using the hand brake only before you rip into it. See if it still does it.
