Yup, Montreal mayor Denis Codierre is crowing a win for himself and his colleagues.....I guess they would rather get supply from Venezuela and other foreign countries via tankers on the St Lawrence seaway....those never leak

But then this is the same mayor who allows his city to pump raw sewage into the St Lawrence.....so its obvious they don't care about the environment.

This is 100% east vs west political bull****!

I wonder where we go from here now? Our only hope is Trans mountain. If that doesnt go through than what, keystone??? Products need to get to market, no extra pipeline capacity than a slow down in expanding.

If BC doesnt want extra oil and gas flowing through there province than extra tourism traffic in the summer and winter must be slowed or stopped as well.

I must be getting old, I've never been so disgusted with government as the last couple months, Khader gets 10.5 mill, Edmonton terrorist NOT charged with terrorism, energy east cancelled, but ok to give billions to bombardier, reading cbc tonight Indians are getting another payout to the tune of 800 mill, illegal immigrants flowing over the border by the thousands all on the tax payers back, and then tax me to death as a small business owner all while Morneau and Trudeau shelter their taxes. How the hell people can possibly support the left is beyond me.

I have been listening to the news today and like all residents of Alberta I am disappointed that the Energy East Pipeline project was cancelled this morning. I am also enraged by the fact a politician in Que. ie the Mayor of Montreal, is so happy that happened. I was wondering if I could get all my friends to repost this in Canada and see how big a boycott we can get going on Bombardier products. The corporate list of their products on the website is, Ski-doo, Lynx, Sea-doo, Evinrude, Rotarx, Can-am Off Road, Can-am Spyder. Ignoring BRP and buying all these products elsewhere may wake some of these politicians up to the fact they have to support all of Canada, not all one way. It would be different if they were not buying oil from elsewhere so let's see if we can build this to a noticeable protest. Wake up Quebec, you sell things outside your borders as well. Thank you.

The BRP product is a export from there province. If we cant export oil in than why support exports from their province??

true, people still equate anything BRP as one entity, right or wrong. and have a strong opinion of quebec one way or the other. can hear it on any street corner in alberta.
