Where can you get folding benches other than Allendale? Wish I had time just to make them but I don't. Need to buy them
Flaman in Leduc used to carry some, not sure about lately. Martins can also get them through their Triton line, although the Triton ones I've seen are more of a foldout couch design.
DWS enterprises Red Deer, hands down the best, he builds for Allan Dale, why don't you want to buy from Allan Dale ?
They are 330.00 each at airdrie trailer
Thanks, you just saved me from buying benches. Cheers. My last trailer had one DSW fold down bench + kept a few lawn chairs in it. The lawn chairs were always the first to be grabbed before anyone folded down the bench.
Wall space is valuable real estate in my current trailer, so something had to go. Decided not to bother with benches in this trailer and honestly don't think I'd put one in a trailer again. A $400 bench is also a pretty pricey seat for 2 people. I just keep 4 - 6 good folding lawn chairs in the trailer & they work great. Have a few sections of E-track around the front of the V-nose & just keep them tied to the wall & out of the way.
Trailer walls are cold if you're sitting with your back up against them. The type that fold away from the walls eliminate this (like the Trails West Benches), but can't sit back with your feet up. I know - first world problems. I also had hooks all over the walls, and my bench didn't work very well when there was a bunch of stuff hanging above you.
I agree with Shrek1 - The DSW units are very well built if you decide to go with wall mount benches.
If you need a cheap seat-pad, the knee mats from Princess Auto work really well.
Bench isn't a bad idea. All our clothes stay in the trailer to dry, so in the morning when the sleds are pulled out, the bench is folded down so you have a place to sit to put the boots on and suit up. If there's only three sleds in the trailer then one can sit on the bench, otherwise with four, people sit on sleds and little cabela fold out icefishing chairs. (they take up little room)Thanks, you just saved me from buying benches. Cheers.
I think lawn chair would work?Bench isn't a bad idea.
