Enclosed sled trailer

Always bring a spare someone always wrecks something, but now adays make way more use out of the sled deck

Did guys sit on each others laps, or hope you got a bench in the front row!

I find that spray foam insulation works best. Everything gets insulated then

we have only ever done it for one trip and no shifting just some gloves in between some rub points and good to go

Wasnt the proper way to do it but yes they all were tied down as we have been stopped outside valemount before

They gave you trouble for having sleds tied down in an enclosed?

They checked our slip tank in the truck and check to make sure cargo/sleds was secure

a professional spray foam applicator did my trailer, it not only insulates and seals the trailer it makes the tin in the walls way more solid!

Has anyone tried using 1" blue rigit foam panels in the walls and roof of their trailers
i have the smooth screwless outside skin so not sure if foam panels would effect the 3M tape that holds the side panels on.
I believe that would get an R - 7 insulation
that would be the best rating for a 1" wall

My trailer came with i inch rigid foam in the walls, didn't work worth a sh*t, wasn't in all the nooks and spaces, I live on a grid road and dust would be coming in through the walls.

Quick tip for yah so you can use spray foam in the wall cavity! Use a thin piece of cardboard and line the interior side of the aluminum panel with it. That allows the chemical reaction to happen on the cardboard and won't warp your aluminum exterior panel. I found out the hard way on that!!

What is the minimum enclosed trailer size recommended for 3-165" sleds? Looking at at 16 ft + 4 ft v-nose but not sure if it would be too tight.

16' flat will work backing in the third sled.

What don't you get? Enclosed vs open deck? Size wise? What is hard to understand about wanting an enclosed trailer?

For one the wifes alot happier gettin dressed in a warm trailer lol, keep all your gear dry dont need to take anything into hotel, sleds are dry all the snows off, mobile workshop when you break something on the hill

Mmm ok ok . Just seem harder to turn around and maybe get stuck . Im thinking u have nice parking lot to unload ? We must sled at different spots

If u no how to drive and have a good group of guys it hasnt been a issue yet, but have a sled deck for early and late season trips as going up a logging trail with a 30 foot trailer aint exactly fun, also when u drive 12 hours to ride it nice to have a full truck helps keeps the costs down a bit

Or theft. Or that you can use the trailer to haul other stuff. Or to keep your stuff out of the elements like road grime. Or to have a nice spot to change. I could go on. If you don't understand then you probably don't need one.
