Not really. It was great but my wife on the 163 did just as well. It was the best day of the year and this morning the snow was awesome. A little heavier later in the afternoon.

Another epic day in Elkford..................this time with a little sunshine. Above 7000' the snow is still dry. Tracked a little more today but there is lots remaining.

Cant expect me to leave the upper arms green can ya? lol I just got the lower arms, spindles, springs, and tie rods powdercoated black, but didn't know what to do about those nylon injected upper ball joints so i left them, meanwhile i broke one ball joint. and they're not serviceable, arctic cat wants $167 for a ball joint, then i get the a arm for free i guess.

How was the snow?

We did some riding in Fernie area and it was good and deep towards the west and in the trees. Got a bit heavy in the afternoon.
Temps were 5-7c most of the day and 15c on Highway 3 near Morrisey on the drive home.

Just started to rain now (Saturday AM) and 5c here at Koocanusa.

It rained all night in Elkford and the ceiling was high this morning................there was no snow on the trees at the 7000' level! It is still raining.........friggin' rain enywazzzzz

Yes, we need cooler temps and snow down low for normal access but if you know spots you can drive to the snow and get in road rides atleast

Probed 90 -100 cm yesterday west of Elkford. Lots of rock and stumps and some places are just ridiculous with the numbers of rocks (above Mear Lake is brutal but lots of people seem to be ignoring the very real threat). Need another good dump and it will be game on.

The last two slides are down and the 4th one ran full path. Covered the trail with up to 10'. Pretty significant for this time of year.
