We rode Edson to Silver Summit on the 15th
Only a few bare spots but definitely not as god as in January
No one else on the trail

Supposably the trail from Whitecourt to Silver Summit is good. Only issue would be the Creek and water crossings from Groat Creek staging if their still frozen.

Lots of bare spots between groat creek and the end of whitecourts trails rode from groat creek to silver summit and back on the 14th, very icy in sections, creek crossings are all fine, must have scratchers, the old mans pro overheated 10 or more times with scratchers down from groat creek to the end of the trailblazers trails and we both put a good wear on the sliders that day, trails got way better closer to tom hill about 3-4' of snow by the ski hill

We found that in morning on Sat going up from Edson, not that many overheats but a couple. Going back no over heatings as trails softened and were able throw more snow into cooling system.

Looks as season is coming to a very fast closing! :(

Out last week Silver Summit/ Knight Comp/Tom Hill areas all the way to the White Court trail system at Goodwin Lake. Around 2-3 feed of hard packed snow/ice with 4 inches of fresh snow last week and we just got 6 inches more in town over the last few days. The most snow is up toward Silver summit/Knight Comp. But I will give the White Court club a thumbs up for the trail around Goodwin Lake and the warm up shelter near there.

That's what we have got about 20 south of town on location in the last couple days is say maybe 6-8" total and still snowing. Was quite a bit of melting prior to this last little storm rolling thru

A friend and I had a blast last Saturday (March 29th) there was about 8 inches of fresh powder. Temperature was perfect, maybe a little overcast but some of the best snow that I have been on all year.

Was out again Thursday April 3 found lots of lines NE of Knight Comp that had barely been touched. There's a hard layer about 6-8" under the powder that allows any sled to work up there now when that softens up you better have a mountain sled or go on an old path. Doing one last family trip from town to Sundance tomorrow.
