yes creeks, beaver dams and swamps are not frozen still. the boys doing mulching are having fits, people need to use a bit of caution still.

Thanks for the update. Things are looking a little raw. Never been all the way through, so not sure how much water/swamp would need to cross. Might be waiting it out.

Any New snow out that way? A few of us were thinking of riding Whitecourt on the 2nd. I rode there yesterday it was pretty tracked .
So we are throwing around the idea of trying somewhere else.

Curious to know if Edson snow conditions are better than Whitecourt's and if so. Where would be a good area to ride? And where to Stage?

Thanks.

Bunch of us riding to Edson from Whitecourt on the second. We are staging from town. There is a staging area 10 south of whitecourt on highway 32 but Ive never used it Hoping the trail is passable. Supposed to be roughly 90 miles one way. Cant confirm but believe there was some recent snow,

If you have access to version 5 of the Bc/Ab backroads gps card, it has 95% of the trail marked. I also found a google map image. Look around on net and will find printable map. Ive never ridden anything south of silver summit, so not sure what our trip in a couple days will be like.
