From what I could see from the road
today looked for some
decent trail ditch banging to me pic one is from sun am, sunny pic is today of one of my leases
I was out yesterday south of Robb and parked at the corner where the highway turns to gravel. We went down the main power line, and then along the road past the Lovett staging area (not plowed out yet) just past where the coal trucks cross the road we turned into the bush. There is 2-3 ft of snow everywhere with 1 foot of fresh powder. A short track will be glad he has a path to follow and there is enough untouched snow for a longer track to play.
Was up today at Tom Hill/Knight and did cutlines over to the power line west of Silver Summit considering how good the snow is there has not been much traffic and you can still find fresh snow on the major lines 1-2 ft. If you go down any cutlines where no one has been this year you are looking at 3 ft of snow and will need a mountain machine even on the flat areas. (we found out the hard way)
I rode Edson last Saturday at the poker rally. It was bitterly cold, but trail conditions were fantastic. Should be good south of Edson this weekend-as long as it does not get too warm.
we rode friday afternoon and pretty much all day sat... was shocked to see how much snow was still to be found. found that they used a mulcher all along the pipeline and made it a real pain in the azz to ride, but its sure gonna make it nice for next year
