Anyone have a Rize e bike? I am looking at them? RX Dual mid-drive. Canadian company out of Vancouver and has 2 year warranty. Am new to this e-bike world. Going to hopefully test out a few this coming week.

Bafang is a pretty good motor, I've been running one on my fat bike.
The rest of the parts are low end knock offs.
Depending on price, it be an ok entry level bike.

Picked this up this week.
Needed a step thru as my one leg is partial paralyzed.
Just pedal assist.
Works go for what I need.
E bikes remind me of sleds back in the late 60s and early 70s .
Everyone and his dog is building them.

That one is $4300 CAD before tax.
That's getting up there in price for a bike company with no history. Could go tits up tomorrow and then your out of luck for warranty or parts.
Best advice I can give is go to a couple bike shops and look at name brand stuff like Trek, Norco, Specialized and compare before buying knock off brand and then decide if it's worth the extra cash.
To me it's like buying a Milwaukee or Powerfist tool. Both will get the job done for the average person but one will last much longer.

There's way too good of bikes out there for slightly more to pay that much for a bike like that IMHO. Some good deals out there now. Like Pano dude said above I think.....stick with an actual bike manufacturer

Agreed. Rocky Mountain has 35% off right now on their instinct line up.

^^^ Ouch,,, $$$$...

Id shop around at those costs...

Figure out what ones needs and wants are then dig into the grit too see whats out there...

Id buy a front suspension hard tail for a 1/3 of that cost before dropping change on those units...

End of season sales might be the best bang for buck when dealers are game too clear inventory for next years models come out...

Happy hunting gang...

Yep, bicycle industry manufactured way to much inventory thinking sales would stay at COVID levels. Now they are taking a beating
