It looks like it has the real bafang stamp on the rear hub and they come with a throttle which is nice...

This seems like a fairly good review on them...

Its a bounce if it comes with a low speed gearing cassette on the pedal bike side a person needs it in the odd Circumstances...

Slow speed E-walk is a nice feature too have...

Ive used e-walk on both of my e-bikes,,, its the cats meow in the odd situations,,, a person could get hung up on the odd assent,,, e-walk is the ticket too carry on...

I rest 50 ish % of my body on my bikes and let it carry a good portion of my body weight up the hill or rise...

A win win if its not too fast of a walk...

Good find RK,,, hopefully someone of our forum has tried one... it'd nice too get a local Perspective

Thanks for the information @Lem Lamb this is great, I told the guy on Kijiji that I was no longer interested, and that he has been changing things that were presented daily and tough to be in contact with as you ask a question and it takes a day to get a somewhat answer to what your looking for. I'll order one of these bikes as they come from BC and have a decent price point. I will have to add hydraulic brakes though but you get a good bang for the buck.

^^^ Great find R...

Yes,,, theres nothing wrong with gaining knowledge and practice informed decisions,,, some folks might choose too wing it...

All good either way...

One never knows,,, a person could luck out and end up with a gem of a deal...

A person normally gets what a person gets,,, theres nothing wrong with asking quality questions...

Never forget the world today is full of Unicorn Farts and Rainbows...

PS: A few folks in the U.S and Canada have been scamed on the web with fake sigths that have been taken down...

The scammers fire up a new sight and claim they've been in business for 12 or 35 years with big shiny web sights and all the bling...

Later on they find out the real address is either a empty parking lot or some old scum residential houses...

Buyer's beware...

That’s a good buy. Your service will be awesome. Martin sales department lacks a bit, but their service department is great. You’re gonna love the biking. These things make you feel 12 again. 40 km an hour uphills. You’re still working, but you’re getting Speed for the work. I’ve got two Harley Davidson’s collecting dust cause I’m on my e bikes all the time lol. Last night I rode hard got home felt like 1 million bucks after all all that exercise.

Same here,,, I ran my klx for 4 years and logged on 14.000 kms,,, had the standard Pedal bikes during that time ...

Then i bought a crf so i can look at it sit there,,, i just got onto my first e-bike...

My quad has been collecting dust for 6 + years now,,, I'm not even intrested in it,,, most likely punt it...

I just bought a summer time e-bike so I can have one for spring too fall and the other for winter...

Ive been too so many intresting areas threw out Alberta and nippets of bc,,, I'm hooked...

Im not going from point A too B on a dual-sport motorcycle when I can sit in comfort in my truck,, throw my bike on the ground and hit the trails...

A truck cab and box full of crap,,, and at days end i stay or relax on the drive home...

1 bounce for me is that I can go anywhere and every where with no questions asked...

Up over the mountains or remain in the lower valleys
20210921_141526.jpg

Ive never feared throwing my bike in the hidden trees then traverse the high country of Grizzly Bears and mountain sheep...

There every where...

My piston days are winding down,,, the nice thing about pedal biking/ e-bikes is i can F off at any time from home or the farm,,, load and go or just sit there and plan my next adventure that costs me nothing less a Pittance of fuel or just leave home with spinning cranks...

Simple easy fast,,, if my body says no then I go do something else...

Urban too the Wilds doesn't matter since there's no time frame in my world,,, if I make or don't too a destination its makes no difference...

Theres tomorrow or the next adventure that will make-up for it...

There's no written rules in my pedal-bike World,,, I just get at it when my mind and body tell me so...

Great season starter gang,,, now get out there and kick @zz

All I know after touring around on mostly mild trails and a few grit runs that most of these 500 watt rear hub bafang drives work ok...

They could last along time or pack it in where ever
20240113_154413.jpg

Don't pressure washing them,,, rinse at most,,, avoid the axle seal area,,, clean by hand...

Fear not ghost pedaling in behind them and reap the rewards on mellow trails with rizes,,, collys,,, short drops and climbs,,, the more We pedal the further one goes...

At the end of the day a person can use the same technique too get back too the staging-area or say Vack-it and Power it home...

PS: My friend had mentioned its good too pedal the bike around with no e-assist which forces us too dial in the bike so Our body ergonomics fit it...

That way if the system glitches it allows us too ( pedal and walk ) it home or a ( area where it can be retrieved latter on by vehicle...)

Ditch the peace of crap and hoof it home too get the vehicle if a person has too...

Im allowed too pedal or bike push for 2 or 3 miles max ,,, after that its hide the unit and walk out... grab a friend and head back it too snag the unit...

Well supplied Patch kit,,, a few plastic spoons,,, might as well tape 2 tire tubs too the frame since you'll need them some day...

Only go as far as you can walk that day in that terrain...

Flats are double time,,, mountains are 1/2 time plus...

Are We walking 1.6 kpr threw the mountains or 3.2 kpr on the flats...

Each person gets too find out in due time,,, and last but not least...

Never Never fear getting off the bike to push it threw or past those nasty sections or up grade...

Learn the E-walk and all the little tricks and away you go...

There will be times when the ride is too relaxing,,, and other times too much,,, maybe a person wants too run the middle ground or easier/ funner part of each ride...

Best of times with some challenges along the way they say,,, that and what could possibly go wrong... lol

That’s to Martin Motorsports and Chris in parts for hooking me up. This thing rocks. Got a few extras that I wasn’t planning on and was looking at adding Fenders and a back rack. Went for a little rip will take some time to figure out but works nice.

^^^ Shes beautiful...

Thumbs Up Ron...

I bet there's some fun factor built into that unit...

Don't drive it like a dirt bike and you should be ok... one of Our friend on another pedal bike forum was acting up as he ended up Low siding on some sand and grit in a corner going too fast...

He's out for the season,,, broken rib, busted finger, mild Concussion , 2 damage Vertebrae's...

Not good,,, he prepped all spring getting ready too rock and his season is pretty much rapped up ...

Hopefully he's back on line this fall... crappy set back,,, it can happen...

Any body at any time

Zig-zagg'ed my way too Our farm,,, check'ed the cattle in the back pastures,,, hoof'ed it home the long way...
17 ish miles
20 too 40 mpr intermittent winds
Lots of pedaling
Played around the E-assist,,, high-setting low-setting,,, auto is kool,,, back too low setting and get back on the pedals...

I didn't buy a e-bike too sit on my @zz you know

Came into the Spring season with 800 miles of Analog-ing a 66 lb fat tire bike in the winter vvv
20240202_140742.jpg

Hit up 8 riding areas in Albetra and BC...
20240120_125556.jpg

RedDeer,,, Edmonton,,, Cal,,, Sundre,,, Bragg,,, Norgg,,, Fernie,,, Drum

Bently,,, Gull,,, and a few other hamlets I forgot,,, hard too remember things with frozen Brain... lol

Yuppers,,, I hate too say this but I see that there's going too be another Smasher f.s. eMTB in the barn this winter...

Correct,,, real deal full suspension eMTB'z are simply awesome,,, the bikes them selves are easy too pedal with no e-assist,,, and when it's needed its definitely the back-up plan getting back too camp...

No Screwing with these things... lol...

No turning back now,,, the e-bike world is going too be hard on my bank account...

Oh-boy
