Ive ran across alot of middle age/ mellow older folks on those Rad Rovers folks buy on line...

Step threw frames and big @zz tires,,, rear hub drive...

I bet I've spotted well over 100 + of them threw-out Western Canada on my adventures...

$2000 + + and there shipped too your door ,,, i don't know how the service stuff goes but most of them seem too keep running care free less small adjustments on the rear shifter...

Juggernaut is a Canadian brand,,, they have dealers threw out Canada that can assist us if we need assistance...

Never hurts too look around,,, there will be lots of sales happen when the cold temps roll in...

I offered him 1400, he says no low balls, that not a low ball.

That’s a pretty reasonable offer . 30%-50% of asking is low ball
As it appears to be a fairly decent bike I told him 1500 is my offer and can get it tomorrow night. And gave him my cell number, hes in Castle downs and that's where Lyle is so I can look and we can take to lyles house. Im awaiting a response.

You remember Lem, at the last auction, when you bought that moose, he was thin as a board, stiff as a tree, hasn't moo-ved in years, and just stands around posing? haha. (y).

My friend might be into a new game plan on his future quest...

Big ass tires
Step threw frame
Big hub drive with thumb throttle
Extra large battery
Big comfee seat
Bull low gear cassette
Cheap floaty front forks
3 drink holders
Massive rear rack with plastic milk crate held on will tarp straps
Drink cooler straped on up front
And his fishing back pack and fold away chair when he gets there...

Idle down the mountain whisper quiet and spook up the critters on the way down at the end of the day biking,,, fishing,,, hiking,,, relaxing and taking in the sigths locally in his back yard.

You do know that this is a all day thing... lol

Day in and day out as he trys his best too wreck crap,,, bike is use-less unless $4!+'z breaking...

This will give him time too $#(&×> rig crap for the next 20.000 k...

Buy it ride it is his new moto,,, rip around at night and heckle the cops,,, i told him to tell the cops he's a copper wire Thief,,, ask them if they know where there is any ??? Lol...

Yuppers,,, he's come too the conclusion that a big old step-threw bike with thumb throttle would be his best mode of transit...

The fat chicks will think he's sexy on his new ride.. Ha

Hes thinking in the line of Rad Rover 6 or something...

Pay for it on line,,, shows up at door, vice gripd and Cresent-wrench,,, screw-driver and hammer...

Put it together,,,throw away the crap that didn't get installed and ride the crap out of it...

If it brakes it brakes,,, order crap from Rad and wreck that crap too,,, its still a bike if a person can jam at stick into the rear trailer too hold 1st gear on the way home... Wheres theres a will theres a way...

Come down the mountain with a fast tire blowen off the rim as he skipps threw millions of rocks then 7 kms of asphalt ,,,it shouldn't burn off too much aluminum from the rims... lol

All in the quest of good times they say,,, I'm sure it will work out for him,,, if not he'll be working on it as he logs on the miles...

PS: I know nothing about Rad R but im thinking they have a few or alot of happy customers...

Reviews of them on YouTube,,, take things as a 50/50...

Yes yes yes ^^^ Youtube and Other sources of information...

- Whats the costs...
- Whos there if i need tech support... is it human on phone or email...
- Kind of wize too try their tech support system too make sure it works before spending coin...
- Are there parts,,, where are they and how log too get them...
- Where are your 2 wear houses here in Canada...
Standard e-bike battery or custom hard too get unit...
-Hopefully part of Bafang,,, Bosh,,, Yamaha,,, Panasonic,,, and other tech leaders in parts and Accessories in the electronic department...

Fly off the shelf no name crap dosen't work good at times
-Pay what yha pay for...
The bikes them selves are pretty Standard...
- Don't fear telling seller's their bikes suck because they don't have quick detach wheels,,, what,,, yha think that everyone in North America carries a Allan Wrench around too change a flat... (Not)...
- Fear Not,, give them the berries gang ,,, I look at all bikes analog and e as a medium bill item,,, im not paying top dollar if the value is not there...

And last but not least as We compare bike brand too bike band in ( Our own search program. )

We will have too find the seat we're after,,, i like large flat pedals,,, 2" or more bar rise,,, im definitely keen too dropper posts,,, <<< not required by most riders...
Little things will fall on Our dime as expected,,, but the manufacturers have too work with us in some aspects...

Who would ever think that quick detaatch wheels would be or """could""" be an issue...

Its seems too me that this little crap left out plays a big roll in my decision...

Kinda like a horse,,, you don't know what your getting until you get the saddle cinched down and climb aboard...

Best ride of your life or a total train wreck waiting too happen...

Everything We buy now days fits that motto.. lol

A self informed shoper will come out ahead most of the time...

Go in your shed or over too your buddy's and ride his bike (s),,, that way your setting up for success...

Lets not forget,,, my first even power bike became a passion of many more builds over the years...

20201221_141713.jpg

Fact:
1 hp is 3 too 4 human...
3 hp is 9 too 12 human
7 hp with gearing = just under 100 mpr set in 1902...
This units come factory close too 3 hp,,, customs come in 7,,, 9,,, 11,,,13,,, and 17 ponys...
The super charged units are in the 27+ too 32 hp...

World record for a 50cc engine is 200 + mpr...

This leads too this vvv
20230318_125408.jpg

Then this,,, vvv
20240120_134457.jpg

On and on... vvv
20231231_123521.jpg

A whole lot of this over the last few year,,, our friend p.d can Vouch for that... lol vvv
20240310_121247.jpg

I just happen too be on the next phaze of learning this crap...
20240528_101158.jpg

It actually has nothing too do with a bike in particular,,, it's what We bring for/ too """Our""" ride (s) that make it happen...

Make it fun and keep it fun is my goal (s)...

***Warning *** 1 bike only leads too more !!!

Just Saying is All

I can say weather there good bikes or not but the folks ive chatted with on the trails seem too like them...

A floaty front stem,,, big comfort spring seat with rudder floatation seat stem and away you go...

They wont take you every where but they'll hual your @zz to alot of normal areas,,, lakes ,,, streams and trails...

The smoother the trail the better...

Just like snowmobiling,,, always go up or into the head winds,,, if the system goes down its waaaaay easier too get home or too a bike shop too get crap sorted...

Buy the small accessories from your local bike shop folks,,, get too know them and be that guy...

One never knows,,, that fellow in your bike shop area won't leave you high and dry if We work with them...

Highly unlikely anything major will occur if We tap it kool...

They build these unit's knowing that pepole are going too ride them...

Fat tire commuter bikes for the fun of be'ing out there on paved and gravel pads as well as soft sand creek and lake beds...

A bit challenging in spots but once you get too the damp water line your on your way,,, great traction on hard damp sand and a good chance of tipping over...

Biking is no fun unless the odd crash happens...

Trail dusting is best

Theres no display I notice.

So far the guy on Kijji is a flake, I offered him 1500, he has it for 1599, then comes back and says he just put new air shocks on it and thats a 500 deal for free so 1580. Sounds like its an old bike with a pile of updated parts

These are on sale. Danny and riverside has great fast service. Parts come from Maverick distributing if you need. My brother Bruce had four for his kids, one for himself. Also my wife and I had them and none of us broke anything. I had this exact model. I rode it hard sometimes. Flying over tree roots so fast the chain would bounce off. Riding all the crazy single track trails on the River Valley with a commuter style bike. 500 W Hub Dr. Comes with 17.5 amp power battery. I’m 230 and could go from West of Edmonton all the way to Beverly, Whyte ave. Downtown and back no problem.
