Well should

But if u don't stop lol should be fine

Road wasn't bad to 2 km yesterday, but u never know

I do know that they are going to make the guys with trailers chain up before u leave the bottom, so there's no issues

Ok guys after sled club meeting new thing coming back after the Travis incident

They are going to be installing sign in -out books again

Use them please if u get to cabin ect, so if u need found we have a idea ur past or below cabin

As we had to look for a pair of guys Tuesday ( from Monday and over nite) and no idea before or past cabin, they were found

Please, please guys don't wreck the books, use the paper to start fires ect

That's why they were taken away, years ago

Cause the books were wrecked way too often

Oh and, please get a sled pass or seasonal pass

One member said he heard and seen salmon arm business owners going in back ways up to bypass having to pay

Like what the hell, that's a big no no

Do u want to have to have ski pass tags on ya like revy does??? And someone going to check-catch ya with no pass??

It sucks lol, should never happen

Get a SPOT no guess work as to your location and you can check in during the day which logs your lat and long. More than worth the money.

Oh I agree

But for the ones that don't, or don't have a clue where they are ect

Log book cabin at least helps narrow the terrain we have to look

Too many people seem to relying on an electronic device to save their butts. Some of them are great tools but the best one is the one that sits between your shoulders. If you chose not to use that one you are putting a lot of faith into something that isn't always fool proof.

Can't comment on the snow up top, but took a drive a few km's up the Owlhead road tonight, definitely wouldn't recommend going without chains. Half ton with good winter tires and it was still pretty slick, not bad going up (if you had a deck), but coming down would be sketchy with any weight behind you. LOTS of tire slide marks. Better safe than being the asshat blocking the road cause you went in the rhubarb.

Can a guy ride from the parking lot at owls head? Is there any snow on the trail at the bottom?
