Just looking for my brother 275-65-20 10 ply for his dodge 2500 diesel. He got a quote from a shop in Lloydminster for $1970 installed and I'm just seeing if edmonton has better prices.

or something similar like BFG KO or toyo open country AT2

I found canadian tire had the best prices on them, if you can get youre hands on a set. I ended up going with the muteki trail hogs as the wait was 12 weeks last nov. Prefer them over the duratracs.

on my toyo at 35x12.50x20 there was 0. I ordered a different set from them a few years ago and it was $50. They have a warehouse in edmonton I believe, as well as a couple other cities.

Cndtire has the best prices on Duratracs. Watch for the 4 for 3 sales... I just got 325/60/20 for $400 each... 275 would be insanely cheap.

General grabber at2 are fraction of the price of the duratracs and are also winter(snowflake) designated as well... Bfg's are a little more, then the hankook rf10 and then the toyo open country at3.... Duratracs are most expensive of the bunch. :( ... Call me if you wish

I picked up a extra set of rims for my 3500 for winter tires, was tossing the idea of throwing duratracs on them actually, but at the end of the day I'm still undecided.
What's your thoughts on the grabbers for winter use only ric?

I run a set of studded dura tracs in the winter, they are phenomenal imo

They are a good all weather type tire..... But nothing replaces a true winter/ice tire.

But a true winter ice tire isn't as good as a duratrac for example in deep hard or soft snow, or a Chinook day in spring where there's mud.. A winter tire will plug right up fast with mud.... Where a duratrac will work good in mud too

I use bfg all terrain for winter for years and years, same idea as a duratrac, and a mud tire for summer

Mabe not as good on nasty ice as a straight winter tire, but for the rest of conditions I think there better all around
