The reason not all cardlocks have DEF pumps is plain and simple economics. DEF freezes at -11C and any station in this part of the world would have to heat it to keep it above that temperature. If they're not going to move any amount of volume, it's not worth it.

As for it causing cancer, where do people come up with this chit?

Don't you know everything causes cancer now a days!

No kidding ns.

As far as DEF going anywhere, don't bet heavily on it. Unless the EPA has one massive change of heart, there's really no other way to efficiently reduce emissions to mandated levels without completely choking everything to death.

The biggest issue we are having with def right now is it freezing. They need to build some type of antifreeze into it and that would solve about 40% of our problems. Or at least the stuff we saw this winter.

The biggest issue we are having with def right now is it freezing. They need to build some type of antifreeze into it and that would solve about 40% of our problems. Or at least the stuff we saw this winter.

The other big problem with it is storing it out of sunlight. I've seen a bunch of ag dealers storing DEF outside in clear totes and it's the worst thing you can do with it.
