Bought a 2010 on Saturday and dealer told me same, only difference, he thought March before he would see one, and thought it would be an 11 not a 2010.5...

my 2 cents

DJ figures we wont see it in a Summit chassy, only 121 and 137's??

hmmmm....

show me the money!!!!! :d

not that I can afford a new one anyways, but would be neat!! haha

Same boat as you.

After riding a 600E-tec I'm paying keen attention to the possible release of a 800 E-tec Summit. That will be one slick machine.

HMMMMM e-tec , hopefully brp made it a little tougher , I know e-tec out board engines were horrible when they first came out . they were constantly dropping cylinders injectors etc etc all within the first 50-100 hrs , at one point we had 27 of them all blown within 2 months . The smaller etecs were fine , it was the 175 horse and up . some times bigger isnt better on un proven technoligy . sure its nice to have the latest and greatest to impress your friends but when your always in the shop and getting and towed back for the first year , with the new sleds , outboard ,car ,truck quad, motorbike etc etc , It sure gets boreing fast , I know I am compairing apples to oranges . I really dont think the manufactuers do enough practical field testing before they intoduce these machines and or vehichles into the market place . they leave the customer to do all the field testing for them witch leaves the customer stranded and pissed off some times with heavy repair bills . just my 2 cents :):):)

I think most would agree that the 600 has proven itself, so there has been a fair bit of testing just not on the 800...

I do get your point though...I am driving a Cummins 6.7, nuff said!
