Everybody has an opinion about the Axis or the 850, at the end of the day, get out there and rent or demo them both, make your own opinion, I bet you would will find the 850 is fun and has significantly more power but the axis tends to feel lighter and more rigid, it's a tough comparison. Then most importantly, talk to each local dealer and see which one you feel is going to stand behind you because at the end of the day, regardless of the what all the brand lovers and haters say, every sled has issues and they all break. Good luck, have fun and be safe out there

I just rode both side by side . The polaris had a pipe kit on it and clutch work the doo was stock . They both pulled really hard and were easy and fun to ride . Its a tough decision .

Normally this is where I would try and write a very nice post.. about the benefits of both sleds... And how either one of them could be better or worse for the specific rider... And that NOBODY really makes a "BAD" sled anymore... Then someone would jumble all my words around.. and make me out to be a total A#$hole again. Bottom line... If you are making your decision off of what ANYONE says on the INTERNET... Maxwell... Norona.. ANYBODY.. You are making a mistake. TRY THEM BEFORE YOU BUY THEM! Get out and talk to people IN PERSON on the hills! You can't side hill a computer chair. ANY answer you get on here is going to be biased... And I have had zero issues with my 850 and its been passed around.. ALOT... So Including me. Make your own decision. Me, Maxwell, Norona, Burant... ANY answer you get is going to be lobsided either by what they own.. or who signs their checks! REALITY. Make your own decision.. NOT OFF OF THE INTERNET. If I believed half of the stuff I read on the internet my house would be full to the roof of male enhancement pills.

Well stated T Team But your house is full of that stuff what ever you call it :)

Go Ride both sleds and make your decision based on the dealer support and your rating you give each sled
Both sled have issues and we can all find faults as they are not perfect toys

750km on my 850 and No Issues

I just read your post and feel that you may have left yourself open for some criticism even though you tried not to. Prepare to be flamed....:D

I am just wondering what he would be googling that would make "male enhancement pills" advertisements be the primary focus of his daily reading list...

Must be a Doo thing :)

i never got the opportunity to ride the g4 during its demo but a couple of people whose viewpoints i respect rode a production model and were blown away by the throttle response and ability to get on top of the snow quickly. they said they were over-driving it but even riders moving from a pro to a axsy tend to for a short while. I may have to take my cans and bottles in so I can afford to rent one. I personally have never observed one being pulled down to the truck yet.

I'd advise against the male enhancement pills, they could ruin your life and your career ! If they work, you'd probably wanna buy an Axys .

Rode a G4 in the trees yesterday and was pretty impressed! I have an Axys and found the G4 to have really strong mid range. Could side hill well and hopped up out of snow. Initiating sidehill felt soft, easy, but loose compared to the Axys. Biggest negative I noticed was how wide my stance had to be when riding with my feet all the way up in foot wells. Very nicely done Doo! The two we are riding with have had no issues so far.
