Snow check a doo 850 turbo or wait for cat to release something?

No doo dealers within 100km of me?

Your dreaming. Cat doesn't even made extra parts for the current sled. I think your turbo is on backorder.
Not so sure about that ....

Wasn’t it a 800 RTR or something like that ?
But was built with Boondocker ?

Yeah they had a few guinea pigs several years ago... couple sponsored riders got to test them back then- they held up ok with proper care and keeping them out of certain rpm ranges for extended periods, but decided it was not ready for mass production yet.

Only 100 km? What's the problem Dustin? Good dealers are hard to find and sometimes travel is necessary. In the eastern Koots, it was Golden (4 hours), Lethbridge (2 hours), or Cochrane (4 hours). I didn't let it bother me and as time went along, staff changes basically put me into a position to change dealers. I am now 6 hours from Cochrane (Bow Ridge Sports), will I change due to driving distance? I guess it depends on how much I have to rely on a dealer. So far our Doo's have been excellent and other than a motor issue with a 2017, not a thing required dealer service.

Cat will have something to answer the Doo but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. Snowcheck the Doo and just suffer the crappier chassis.

Access to parts and other things is important to me. Don't want to be driving hrs and hrs for an exhaust spring or more belts.

Went into Martin's this morning and drooled on the new turbo a little. Sales guys couldn't even be bothered to get out of their desk to come over and chat.

I have had 2 martins sleds and can attest that they don't do backflips for your business but its 5 minutes away for me! I have heard the same review from guys at the bike show this weekend, they couldn't be bothered...

That’s typical. I’m pretty easy to deal with and spend lots of money on lots of **** but those salesman there are terrible. I bought 2 sleds every season. Cash. Use Dolly’s to wheel out cases of oil. Spend $1500 every year on a new suit to match the new sleds. And still walk in the door a stranger everytime. Parts guys are ok. Sales super sucks. martins is the worst ohv dealer. I don’t even like walking in the door. They could probably up their sales 30% if they got better friendlier staff. I buy my doo sleds in BC

I prefer it that way. I don't like getting slime on myself and I generally know more about the product than them anyway.
Haha yup.
To bad you couldn't order online.
And the just have warranty centers.

Yeah I don't think I am high maintenance either.
Definitely don't think I will buy from Martin's again.

Maybe try and find a smaller dealer where they actually value your business.

Or buy from a BC dealer.
They charge you pst?
