Save some photos here as ammo for the guys going to argue about track warranty.

Or maybe Brp cares will chime in on all the track failures.

You guys wanted faster and lighter

There's not enough base material to hold a 3' paddle. It's like having a 3 foot wide snow shovel with a half inch thick wooden handle. I get at least one call a day from guys looking for a good used 3' track.

Too fast down the trail, 3 inch tracks been doing that forever, even guys with boosted nitro climbing with crazy track speed would chuck paddles

I keep mine at 60 or below

Most of these sleds aren't geared to do much more than 60mph (100kmph).

I donno, if a track can't handle the trail something is wrong.

T3 never had these issues......

T3 tracks do too

60 km not miles, keeps track cooler

Think of a 30 inch quad tire at 60 mph, it balloons 3 inches bigger, track lugs are trying to fly off, and g4 use 6 tooth drivers which is a super tight turn

Camo extremes never had this problem at all .
Ran the 3 inch and 2.5 up to 140 kms with no problems at all .
Turbo yamahas would blow lugs off at very high speeds . But understandable .
Have a good 174 2.5 if anyone needs one . Lol

That's not correct. We saw issues at times like that on T3's and it ended up being high speeds on groomed trails. A friend of mine lost some paddles on his 2018 Axys and was denied warranty by Polaris because of speed on groomed trails. He said the dealer told him that these 3" tracks aren't designed for speeds over 100 kmh. I have heard that as well from SkiDoo. Whether its right or wrong these tracks are designed for deep powder and not designed to spin on jagged or sharp objects. I'm not sure what happened to the guy in the pics but I'm sure BRP will once they look at it. Funny thing is I saw this guys post on Facebook as well. There was damage to the back of the sled as well as the taillight and the guy was getting ridiculed by fellow BRP owners for wanting warranty? Not sure but may be a story there we don't know about?

Low snow and rocks on the lower trails not that great for a 3" track either. You could be right tho not hearing many powerclaw tracks comming unglued.

Well there are trails with hard packed snow on the way to mountain up and down we cant get dropped off ontop of the mountain most mountains have a 10-30 km trail up to the mountain then back down. My sled was geared down to help reduce belt popping and i usually taker easy on the trail. Mine lasted 1300kms wifes 16 t3 which she rides around sask and mountains has 2000kms and she rides like a demon on the hard packed no issues on her track

Mine track spit first lug on center lug, no damage on rest of track or anywhere around that center lugg,so found it kinda weird just that one lug would have got damaged like brp said.

Did BRP replace or just ask for CC for payment?
