You’ve obviously succumbed to the trump derangement syndrome, like most of Hollywood, the mainstream media and the liberal progressive elites. Insult him personally and Criticize him all you want if it makes you feel better, but he is getting results and has the backing of lots of business in the states, small and large, and has huge support with the working class, which is all that matters to him. He wasn’t elected to promote Your business, or any other Canadian business or ANY business outside the states.
Whether the world likes it or not, his government will promote policies that are in America’s interests. If your business, or any other business in the world can’t adapt to that, then that’s your problem because the Americans don’t care about you. I’m not sure what you produce and export south, but rest assured that if you decide not to do business with the states anymore, some entrepreneurs in the states will pick up the slack and replace your products in short order.
Like I’ve said before, if everyone just takes a breath, cooler heads will prevail and good deals will eventually get done. If morons like Trudeau stand up and publicly berate and challenge trump directly, then they’re headed for a fall, and businesses like yours will suffer the consequences.

Tell you what, go and buy for 15 grand the database that shows who is importing what and from where and you will see good old Trump is only there for himself. If trump was in it just for himself he wouldn’t have run for president. He’d have just kept on doing what he was doing before. And I feel for the businessmen in Canada, and have lots of relatives that have large farming operations. I try to buy local wherever I can ( food particularly) even though I often pay more than if I bought online, and I never buy food sourced from outside North America unless I’m absolutely forced to.
The point I’m trying to make is that picking a fight with the states over trade has never worked well for Canada and never will. NAFTA is probably dead, and Canada would do well to pursue a bilateral trade deal with the states.
This hubub will blow over, and thing will settle out in a way that everyone can live with, providing some idiots like Trudeau don’t keep stirring the pot.
