i'd suggest giving gear to somebody who is in need and can't afford new gear. somebody with toys like this, they can afford it on their own....

as per Tex's signature....
"sled is a 2010 summit x 163 copper black
quad is a 06 kawi 750 bruteforce ,2 rads one on rack and one in the stock spot, snorkeled, chiped, 30" mud light xxl tires, itp 14inch rims, front 3500 lb and rear 3000 lb winch."

If you can't afford a jacket you can't afford to sled period. I spend what a jacket is worth every weekend I go out, and I am on the low end of the totem pole. I rode last season with some old burton pants, and marks work wearhouse boots, an old Decente jacket that I got from the salvation army (really it was the best $40 I ever spent), a full face snowboard helmet, and some gloves that have as much duct tape as glove. I ride an old 2005 M7. I am as poor of a sledder as you pretty much feasibly can be.

So if anyone could make a case for "needing" gear it would be me, BUT that is not what this contest would appear to be about. This is about silly pink jackets that are supposedly "orange", and boots that you can see the dudes foot through, and hopefully if bnorth gets around to posting my gloves, gloves that are more duct tape the glove. I am sure someone on here still wears a 70's open face helmet with glitter paint, or something silly like that.

Sledding almost by definition is about expendable income, not about charity, lets not turn this awesome giveaway into that. A big thanks to MF for putting something like this on, we don't see anyone else doing giveaways like this.

Now that my little diatribe is over my votes as of right now are:
-Tex for a jacket to rid us of the pink
-Dude with the foot through the boot

That is good point on every point dvstr8. That is the point of this contest. Fun. But maybe we do need to look for the guy on something else that really needs gear. Something may have happened to them that has taking sled time away from them? Injury or something. Just saying.

I agree also. Do ya see a 2012 can ham reny ???

Nope just a old wore out kawi cause its paid for and costs lots to keep going.

As far a the newish sled. Well I got tired of fixing my 04 sled ans bought it used last year so I could ride without fixing.

As far as gear. Yes I do realy need it.
It's too small , its old , cold , and not meant for the mountains.
Do u think if I could afford to buy new chit I would just so I don't get bugged about the pink alone.
