Do the E-tec's really start with just 1 pull as claimed? (in real life application)

With the huge stator in these sleds, they are much harder to pull over than a the old motor. Pull hard and it starts. If you are looking to buy it for your wife, get e-start.

Break in mode is set to 10hrs, which usually ends up being around 300km. I cant say that I noticed when it came off the break in, but I know it has more pull than my 07-800r.

My only real observation is the power curve, it seems like my 07's sweet spot was at a lower rpm, and the new etec doesnt hit until very close to red line. It makes the clutch setting very important because tapping the rev limiter on a big climb can result in lots of digging.

I'll get it dialed in soon enough, no complaints.

Yea, I just remember seeing a doo video and seeing their claims to a 1 pull start every time.. thats awesome I think, It's a bit anoying when you have a roll over (a regular basis for me) and she's flodded.
I wanna snowchek one, but I sure as heel don't want less performance then my 800P-Tek!
just a thought, but maybe the performance seems low for some guys because of the chip burnout? I dunno? not sure how long it lasts for.. I find it hard to believe that it would feel like it's got less jam, since it's got fuel injection and rated for more hp.. I sure hope not.

Quite Noticable power increase over the 09 Ptek

just over a 1000 km's on mine and starts 1 pull everytime even in -25 it started up roll it down a hill pull up the killswitch 1 pull love the thing

mine started -38c 1 pull 4 min warm up mode purrrfect. my bros e-start wouldnt work to cold and had a hard time pull starting his sdi 600 same thing on my buddys 800 p-tech

That will be a nice improvement, really look'n forward to getting one snowchecked.. sure hope they come out with a 2.5" track or something..
