we were at the Sled Shed on friday......there was a 1700 or 1800 3 cylinder sled there......we tried to pull it over.....the only way you could start it was wrap the rope around the primary and pull.......someone threw in some can of compression in to that engine lol......over 100 hp per slug.....and a big bottle of juice to boot.......what a very cool ride.......and what a sound it made......

LOL the life on them is very short. PSI made a few of the 1800's, but they were ridiculously expensive, (like almost $20K) and they were really hard to tune because it was a PSI design, you had to buy all the widgets (i.e. CRAP) like Bruce's "big air carbs", Dial-A-Dome heads, etc.........Reid Hedlund had a 1500 if I remember right, which was the first generation protoype of the 1800 basically.

Tison performance in the states built a couple sleds with them in, stupid fast in their titanium chassis but well into the $40K's for a mountain sled - 10 yrs ago..... :D

Linderman is the only guy I know of that still runs his. Not too many of the PSI ones still running.

Cutler would have better luck IMO, more reputable company. I still love my big triple, wish they were still making them.
